The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia held a number of bilateral meetings with American space companies in Washington today, represented by the Saudi Space Commission, on the margin of the official visit of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Space Commission, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha to the United States of America.
His Excellency discussed, during the bilateral meetings, ways to enhance relations between the two friendly countries, as well as the opportunities for joint cooperation regarding the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. He also explored ways to promote innovation, pioneering projects and transferring advanced technologies and localizing them in the space sector.
H.E met with Chairman and CEO of Lockheed Martin, Mr. James D. Taichlet, Chairman and CEO of Voyager Space, Mr. Dylan Taylor, and Executive Vice President of Boeing Ms. Lian J. Carrett.
These meetings were attended by His Excellency Dr. Munir bin Mahmoud Al-Desouki, President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, His Excellency the Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Space Commission, Dr. Muhammad bin Saud Al-Tamimi, and members of the delegation accompanying His Excellency the Chairman of the Council.
