The Saudi Space Commission is organizing the summer program for space science and technology in Riyadh, in cooperation with Imperial College London and Thunderbird School of Global Management, at the Huawei Future Space Center. The program will provide training courses, and will be introduced by Space science professionals. It aims to raise knowledge and develop skills of university students in the field of space and its sciences.
The program targets male and female ‘undergraduate students’ in science and engineering majors. The program criteria include the following: the applicant must be a Saudi national, currently studying at the bachelor’s stage in science and engineering majors, and the proficiency in English language, both spoken and written, and passing the program’s entrance exam.
The registration period is scheduled to end on August 7, as the program will be held during the period (August 14 to 25) in 2022, from 10 am to 4 pm.
It is worth noting that those enrolled in the program will receive certificates from the Saudi Space Commission in cooperation with Imperial College London and Thunderbird School of Global Management.
The program will contribute to strengthening the Commission’s role in the space sector, by developing human capabilities and raising students’ and society’s awareness of the importance of space science and technology. In addition, it will improve the quality and efficiency of space-related content as well as inspire future generations by enlightening them on the scientific, applied and engineering jobs that are specific to the space sector.
